About SJ Constructio

After trading as a sole trader for many years and taking on sizeable projects it has lead me to expand to SJ Construction (UK) Limited, which focuses on customer satisfaction through implementing and providing a quality service by a skilled professional. As a limited company, I ensure that the work carried out is to the highest standard, which is reflected in the outcome of all my projects. Past projects and samples of my work are available to view and images are updated on completion of the projects.

SJ Construction (UK) Limited was founded in 2010, named after my late mother who was and I’m sure still is my number one fan. She sadly passed away November 2009 after battling with Lupus for many years. Her strength and courage was truly inspirational, which gives me the determination to make SJ Construction (UK) Limited successful and a ‘business’ to be proud of.

Although still new, it is venturing off into different directions and is expanding quite rapidly. It is a family run business, and I’m hoping in the distant future that my two young sons will come on board with me one day. I started my apprenticeship in 2002, studying at North West Kent College, England. There I underwent valuable training, which included theory and practical work.

I was successful in completing the course and being awarded with City & Guilds Level 2 in Bricklaying. During the time I was studying at college, I took possession of many trophies and certificates through participating in competitions.

Having worked for other companies before and during the college course, I was able to put my skills into practice, which as a result has led me to receive plenty of private work. As much of my work was through recommendation, private projects were becoming more frequent & so I decided to become self-employed, originally calling my trading name Solobuild before setting up my limited company.

Although SJ Construction (UK) Limited specialises in extensions and new builds, I am experienced in many areas and always aim to meet the customers’ requests and needs.
